Nancy
My love for aesthetically pleasing spaces was inspired in me by my mother, who took a "decorating correspondence course" by mail in the 70's. She generously helped her neighbors pull their rooms together with what they already had. My inherited creative abilities landed me at Colorado Institute of Art, where I completed the full Design Course. The opportunity to stage a modern new build boasting over 5,000 square feet in Denver's SloHi neighborhood proved to be the impetus for creating Upstaging Colorado. It is my desire to express the right look for each home and also for the specific market- in a responsive, timely manner- while using my problem-solving skills to also produce a great and profitable result!

Home decor design has always been a passion of mine. Family and friends of all ages over the years have asked for my professional home design expertise and opinions, and I've always been happy to share my ideas and consult with them. Home design/staging was a hobby while I also had a very good and extensive career in a high tech company. I always dreamed of running my own business so that I could offer the best home design to clients reliably and authentically, and this was the birth of Upstaging Colorado. My goal is to provide real estate properties with staging that exhibits welcoming custom designs that buyers will see themselves living in.
